Many motor homes are equipped with gasoline-powered engines, and are subject to the same emission laws as cars and light trucks.

Maintaining the Champion commitment to provide service and advice based on the latest information, we have completed training classes in the new IM 240 emission laws.

When you bring your emission-failed motor home or RV to Champion, we even take it to the Certification Facility to make sure it passes before it is returned to you.

Additionally, we have invested thousands in the latest portable test equipment that measures a vehicle’s emissions in much the same way the state test facilities do. We take emission readings at highway speeds, not sitting in our repair facility.

Due to our successful completion of training, and investment in equipment, Champion is an Illinois Certified Emission Control facility. We have to get it right the first time to maintain our certification. Our training, experience and portable test equipment lets us do just that.
